National Prosecco Day - Friday Cocktail Recipe!

You never need a reason to have a glass of bubbly, especially when it's National Prosecco Day!

Palm Tree Etched Flute Goblets - Set of 4

We have a unique recipe this week that brings a whole new light to the different ways you can incorporate prosecco into a cocktail (not that mimosas aren't delicious!). An original recipe which goes by the name "Strawberry Dreams".

This one comes from a friends daughter who is a bartender down in Australia, who has used their isolation time, coming up with different cocktails to add to their venues menu when things reopen. Using a nice fancy flute (we have so many to choose from!), will make the cocktail look just as good as it tastes!

You Will Need: (for one cocktail)

  • 1 ounce fresh orange juice
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons of strawberry jam
  • sugar syrup for rim of glass
  • 2 ounces of prosecco of your choice
  • sprinkles for the rim of glass

Step 1: Chill your cocktail flute, or whatever glass you decide to use for this fun cocktail

Step 2: Once chilled, dip the rim in sugar syrup or water and then rim with the sprinkles

Step 3: Fill your shaker with ice and add the strawberry jam, orange juice and lemon juice together

Step 4: Shake away!

Step 5: Strain 1 ounce of ingredients (or more depending on the size of glass you choose) into your chilled flute with rim already prepared

Step 6: Top off slowly with the prosecco of your choice but make sure not to pour too much so it doesn't bubble over!

Step 7: Enjoy this sweet and original cocktail, while relaxing and enjoying your Friday!

In need of some coastal flutes for your beach house? We have some great options!
